Remnant From The Ashes is an RPG video game that focuses on close and range combat, utilizes character improvement in items, skills, and playability in an adventure mode that is full of mysteries.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, you represent one of the last remnants of humanity. You can play solo or with up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies and clear levels. It’s your duty to rebuild what we’ve lost!
The thing is that troubles aren’t only in-world events. There’s something happening at a cosmic level, which is why you can open portals to go to alternate realities. In these dynamically generated worlds, you will need to find quest opportunities and find out about the problems that ache those worlds.
You take the mantle of the main character, a remnant of mankind, trying to stay alive. This dystopian version of the Earth will provide fresh challenges of all kinds. Especially because it is assaulted by an evil presence called The Root.
In the beginning, you will have access to one map, Earth. In this devastated wasteland, you will have to fight to survive and try to eliminate this incredible evil from another dimension and retake what was lost. Further on, you will have to unlock armor, weapons, and more equipment to overcome monsters. As you progress, you can open portals to other realms.
You can travel alone or alongside your teammates and keep struggling to survive in these landscapes. This co-op feature allows you to have a better experience and explore deeper the maps where you are located.
Your team can use the abilities, weapons, and other items and use them in your session.
But beware, old and new maps will increase in difficulty as you level up or your friends join. So, the chances to die are higher.
Remnant From The Ashes has a Steam reward system that you can unlock as you play. However, the greatest rewards you can get are the weapons and modifications that appear after defeating a boss.
These can be used in weapons slots and provide both offensive and defensive effects to the character and its allies. You can change mods as you please between your equipment, but some others come inside your weaponry that can’t be changed.
Make sure to visit random places and dimensions to uncover these amazing improvements.
