Killing Floor 2 is a first-person shooter survival developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. It is the second game of the franchise. The successor of the original Killing Floor came to the public at the end of 2016, close to seven years after the first title release, back in 2009.
Players can choose from varied playable characters, joining the game in online co-op mode or solo mode. You will play in Continental Europe and try to contain a zombie infestation taking the entire European Union. The lucky survivors are gone into hiding all over Europe.

The story runs over an outbreak caused by a military company called Horzine Biotech. They tried to create clones for the army through genetic manipulation and failed. After something goes wrong, Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment overwhelms its private security and breaches out the facilities.
These mutant zombie-like aggressive humans are now attacking the United Kingdom. After these events, they spread drastically fast and gain unstoppable momentum.
The European Union governments desperately form special teams with civilians and military forces to fight back. That's where you come in. As the original game, Killing Floor 2 is well known for its violent and gore gameplay. The game intends to put you inside a bloody carnage, giving you all the tools to keep fighting for your life the bloodiest way possible. Special melee attacks, weapons, perks, teamwork, everything intends to make you drop more and more blood. If you love stories as gore as possible, go and get your digital key!
The players descend to fight against the horrific specimens and use long-range weapons or go for brutal melee combat. Killing tools are what you won't miss when players start to make entrails, severed limbs, and blood flying everywhere.
The specimen clones will come to the player’s party in hordes. Each horde increases the challenge level. As you advance through new levels, you get the boss-fight against the patriarch. The more you resist, the harder the fight for self-preservation gets.

The first thing to stand out is the new and smarter artificial intelligence. New enemies are dishing out powerful attacks and working as a group, so you should be ready. The new intelligence will do its part to destroy the party by harming the teamwork and increasing the fear factor levels.
Another feature is the expanded perk system. Perks from the original game have been reimagined. Tripwire also did some more to help you with the carnage. Now, all the perks progress are based on your talent choices. These talent choices directly impact your playstyle, so choose wisely.
The third feature is the unique blend of weaponry, from modern militaristic assault rifles to brutal improvised makeshift weapons. You will have to be smart, as the weapons and ammo are found or bought inside the maps. You will also have classic historical guns and off the wall “Mad scientist” weapons. If the mutants have quickly spread, you just need to kill them even faster after all.
The Killing Floor 2 title also brings the persistent blood system, which keeps the blood and the organs they take out of (or lose for) their enemies for much longer. Another great feature for the gore fans. They can go nuts killing zombies, and the map will change in response, inch by inch.
The game also offers a great number of mods. That way, everyone who wants to play in new maps will have the opportunity through community creation. Real big masterpieces can come from mod creators, giving a far bigger lifespan for any game.

The whole zombie killing genre is really doing everything they can to not really ****, but it’s really difficult sometimes when they do the same game over and over again. I liked this one a lot, as it really doesn’t try to be extremely different from all the other and makes you really appriciate the whole aspect of co op. It’s extremely well done. I can recommend it to anyone looking for something to play with a friend.
ΡουμανίαSo many zombie games! This was is no different, as the concept must be something in the Zeitgeist. I feel like this is where the fun starts. It is really different than Back 4 Blood and similar games, as I feel it doesn’t treat itself as seriously as those other two titles. This one really takes the cake in the whole - going down in flames scenario. There aren’t many similar ones to this. It’s a great coop, with so many fun scenarios that you just can’t help but smile. The co op is extremely good in this one, especially as those zombies are fighting through your defenses and you feel like there isn’t really much you can do about it. They, you take out your katana and just slice them up, as the crazy tomatoes that they are! Great game, surely!
Ρουμανία…the killing floor comes back with vengance! Another zombie game, another zombie game, another zombie game, Killing Floor 2, another Zombie game. I would sum it up like that for you. I really feel like this is something unique in this whole zombie metaverse we found ourselves in. There is a lot of weapons to choose from and not as many ****** stuff. Also - it’s only PvE game so you have to take that into consideration while thinking about what game to choose. I really liked it, I think that people should give it a chance as it can be really fun. The weapons are really amazing, zombie killing is really fun to look at and I have to say that it just beautiful to look at. Just beautiful. For me - it’s a top game in the genre, really. Should it be like that - probably not. Some PvP should take that spot. But, as it turns out, most of these games are so repetitive and really look and feel the same that this PvE gem is just above them in every way possible. I enjoyed it greatly and can recommend it to you, boys and girls. For me - it’s easy a 9/10 for the story and gameplay. It would be 10/10 if you would introduce some good co op into it, but it’s ok as it is, still.
